Crisp autumn air, laughter echoing across campus, and friends—old and new—coming together once again. Good Will-Hinckley’s fourth annual Fall Festival was everything we hoped for and more: a joyful celebration of community, connection, and generosity.
This year marked a new milestone for GWH—a record-breaking event that reflected our growing network of supporters and the enduring spirit that defines our campus.
Families filled the South Campus throughout the weekend, taking in the colors of fall and the energy of the festivities. From the bustling craft fair and children’s games to the aroma of festival food and live entertainment, the atmosphere was alive with excitement. Everywhere you looked, people were reconnecting, laughing, and making memories that captured the very best of GWH’s welcoming community.
Friday Night Kickoff: Comedy Under the Tent
The weekend began with laughter—literally—at our Friday Night Kickoff: Comedy Under the Tent. This adults-themed evening set the tone for the entire festival, bringing together friends, alumni, and community members for an unforgettable night of fun and camaraderie.
Guests enjoyed a BBQ dinner catered by Waterville’s The Proper Pig, along with a s’mores bar, cornhole, live music, and a cash bar. The highlight of the evening was the after-dinner comedy show, which had the crowd laughing late into the night.
With its mix of great food, local flavor, and shared laughter, Comedy Under the Tent was the perfect way to kick off a weekend full of celebration.
Wel-Kum Bak & a 50th Reunion to Remember
A highlight of the weekend was our Wel-Kum Bak celebration, where we welcomed back the Class of 1975 for their 50th Reunion. On Saturday evening, 20 alumni from the 1970s gathered at OPA in Waterville for a wonderful dinner, reminiscing, reconnecting, and celebrating their shared history at GWH.
We also took a special moment to honor the memory of Robert Roberts. In a moving tribute, alum Emily Bankhead shared heartfelt remarks and once again presented a generous gift in support of our mission. The gathering was a touching reminder of how deeply our alumni continue to shape the Good Will-Hinckley legacy.

The Event Committee has already met to reflect on what went well and identify opportunities to make next year even better. After four incredible years of progress, we’re excited to keep building on that momentum.
Mark your calendars—WEL-KUM BAK will be held on Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26! We can’t wait to see you back on campus for another weekend filled with community, laughter, and fall fun.
